Provincial politics
- The provincial political structure, like that of Canada, is a parliamentary democracy.
- Elections are called every 4-5 years. The party obtaining the largest number of political representatives becomes the ruling party.
- The ruling party sets the agenda and appoints members of the provincial cabinet from the ruling party.
