About RSS
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is an XML-based format for content distribution on the Internet.
It is a free and easy way to get the latest news and announcements from the 2ontario.com website.
Getting Started
You will need an RSS newsreader or aggregator in order to read the XML feed code. There are many different types of RSS readers.
Some are web-based services while others are "stand-alone" programs that are usually free. To search for a list of RSS Feed Readers, click here.
Scrolling through the feed list, if your news reader service is one of the ones we've listed, then simply click on the appropriate icon and follow the instructions to subscribe to the feed. If you don't see the name of your service, then click on the orange XML button for the RSS feed and a new window will pop-up with a URL already highlighted. Copy the URL so you can paste it into your RSS reader when prompted - your newsreader will have a button or option to "subscribe to" or "add" RSS feeds.
